At Clearview, our business is very familiar with the challenges of towing a van around our gorgeous country. Each mirror in our extensive range has been built and designed to handle any of the challenges that our outback can offer. Indeed, over the past 10 years Clearview Towing Mirrors have been tested by many of our customers on every corrugated road in Australia – from Cape York’s Telegraph Track to the Gibb River Road.

They are built tough for Australian conditions, which means no vibration when travelling at high speeds or on corrugated roads. Clearview Towing Mirrors are not your typical strap on mirror type. No bars. No poles. Nothing running across your vehicle. They are true replacement mirrors, which means they’ve been purpose built to use the same holes, fittings, and wiring (when applicable) as your original mirrors for an installation so stress-free, most customers take the DIY approach.

Once installed, Clearview Towing Mirrors adjust electronically – same as your original mirrors. Only they’re much bigger than any standard mirror; approximately 100mm wide prior to extension. That means that you will have clearer vision and safer towing. When hooking up a caravan, boat, trailer or horse float, Clearview Towing Mirrors can even be pulled outwards an additional 100mm of extension to help you see well past whatever it is you’re towing.

MIRROR FEATURES - All features within the vehicles side-view mirror as original equipment are available in the Clearview Towing Mirror. If the vehicle does not have it as a standard feature, Clearview Towing Mirrors will not make it available, for example Heating, BSM (Blind Spot Monitoring) or Powerfold. Powerfold mirror function is available in all mirrors as per original equipment, however Clearview Accessories reserve the right to bypass this feature as mentioned in the Price List. Powerfold/Auto Fold mirror settings as the vehicle original equipment containing this feature will work as intended. Auto Fold Modules can be added as an upgrade on certain models only, as specifically listed within Price List.

BIRDS EYE CAMERA - ‘Next Gen’ and ‘Compact’ model Towing Mirrors come with Camera provision where applicable. ‘Original’ model Towing Mirror DO NOT come with camera provision.

CATEGORY 6 GVM INDICATORS - Clearview Towing Mirrors are fully accredited and meet the CAT6 Certification under Australian Standards. We have allocated a specific Part Number to suit the CAT6 certification on some very popular vehicles. If the vehicle has, or is having a GVM upgrade, and you require CAT6 indicators, please advise on the Official Purchase Order at time of ordering.
